Welcome to Ice Fish Hockey. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legal agreement between you and Ice Fish Hockey ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Ice Fish Hockey mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Description of Service

Ice Fish Hockey is a mobile application that provides:

  • Live NHL game scores and play-by-play updates
  • Team and player statistics
  • League standings and playoff tracking
  • Game predictions through our Outcome Studio feature
  • Personalized content based on favorite teams and players

The App is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18 years of age, you should review these Terms with your parent or guardian to ensure they understand and agree to them.

4. User Account and Responsibilities

While the App may not require account registration for basic features, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of any personal data stored within the App
  • All activities that occur on your device through the App
  • Ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of the App

5. Outcome Studio - Prediction Game

The Outcome Studio feature allows users to make predictions about NHL games. Important points:

  • No Real Money: Outcome Studio is a free prediction game. No real money is wagered, won, or lost.
  • Entertainment Only: Points and streaks earned are for entertainment purposes only and have no monetary value.
  • Not Gambling: This feature does not constitute gambling and is not intended to encourage or facilitate gambling activities.
  • Accuracy: We do not guarantee the accuracy of any predictions or statistics provided.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, and design) are owned by Ice Fish Hockey or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

NHL, team names, logos, and related marks are trademarks of the National Hockey League and its teams. The use of these marks within the App is for informational purposes only and does not imply endorsement.

7. Data and Statistics

The App displays NHL statistics and game data obtained from publicly available sources, including the NHL Stats API. While we strive to provide accurate information:

  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data
  • Statistics may be delayed or contain errors
  • You should not rely solely on App data for important decisions
  • We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the NHL or any of its teams

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the App:

  • For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • To transmit any harmful, threatening, or objectionable content
  • To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
  • To interfere with or disrupt the App or servers connected to it
  • To scrape, data mine, or collect data from the App without permission
  • To reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
  • To use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent

9. Third-Party Services and Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites, services, or advertisements. We are not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or practices of third-party websites
  • Any damages or losses caused by third-party services
  • The privacy practices of third-party sites

Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • WARRANTIES THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
  • WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY INFORMATION

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Ice Fish Hockey SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Any damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) for the App in the past twelve months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ice Fish Hockey and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to the App

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ice Fish Hockey regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
